Job Summary

We are recruiting Revenue Cycle Billing and Collection Specialists for a client in the Tampa Bay area. These roles are ideal for experienced healthcare revenue cycle professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are seeking flexible temporary or temp-to-hire opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage billing and collections for assigned accounts within the revenue cycle
  • Submit, review, and follow up on insurance claims to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement
  • Investigate and resolve denied or underpaid claims
  • Communicate with insurance payers and patients to resolve outstanding balances
  • Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and remittance advice
  • Ensure compliance with payer guidelines and internal policies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and account notes in billing systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex billing issues

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare billing and/or collections
  • Strong knowledge of revenue cycle workflows and reimbursement processes
  • Experience working with commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid
  • Familiarity with medical billing systems and EHRs
  • Ability to analyze denials and efficiently resolve payment issues
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and meet productivity goals
